COMPANY PICNIC, SUMMER 2005
Well, this has been one of those summers that can be
summed up in two words; hot and wet.  Yet despite the
weather on July 16th, we had a really great summer
picnic at the Eastman Park.  There was good food and a
lot of fun and games.  Hopefully, the next picnic will be
our safety awards picnic as we continue the countdown.
Every time we go 90 days without a lost time accident we
have a company gathering with good food and a lot of
prizes.  Everyone continue to keep safety as a priority and
let a supervisor know if you see anything or any practice
that you consider a safety hazard.  Working together we
can help keep American Tool & die a safe place to work.
We take safety seriously and that is why we stress safety
and that is why we reward it every 90 days that we go
without a loss work accident

As most of you are aware I was in China on business
during the last company picnic.  I really hate that I missed
the fun and I regret that I was not there to enjoy the fine
food and great events.  We had 123 in attendance and we
even had water slide for the children so those of you with
children that were not able to make it to this picnic be
sure to try to make our next outing.  Robert Muckenfuss
has been kind enough to put together a little recap of the
ball games and some of the events.  "SEE BELOW"

Game 1:     "The Coed Challenge"

I've seen many coed softball games .....
umpired some.....
even played in some.....
but our "Coed Challenge" had all the ingredients for the greatest game ever.
It had surprise.....
you know, that one time that Ruby didn't say anything!
It had speed....
when Frank almost made it to first base!
It had confusion.....
that was when Oliver started the game by taking the field for the wrong team!!!
Hello-oooo!!!
It had power.....
that came from all the women who parted my hair while pitching.
All-in-all.....
a great game that was dominated by the women.....
Show Offs!!!!!
Game 2:     "The Heat Stroke"

The players take the field.
What a classic!
At times it looked like the major league all-stars.
Just kidding!
It did at times really look like we knew what we were doing.
Then at other times I'm glad we didn't take on the women.
"The Naturals" had the power (my neck still hurts from watching those home runs).
"The Big Shooters" had the finesse.
Back and forth went the score...The Shooters are winning...but then...no,no, no,...
The Naturals come back with a huge triple play that broke our backs.
The Naturals won a "nail biter" of a game.
Final score:  "The Naturals"  28
"The Big Shooters"  22
What can I say???
We men have this belief that we can still get it done!!!
Retire she says.  No way!
Honey, believe me, I still have what it takes!
She turns her back................."Man this really hurts"  --  ROBERT!
WOW!
"What a Great Time"
Once again your input and ideas proved to be the ingredient that made
our "Fun-in-the-Sun" a tremendous success.  What a great time.

The children stayed cool while zipping down the water soaked slide right
into the mud hole that they created.  Some of the kids took advantage of
the beautiful pond and brought their fishing poles for a chance to catch
"The Big One".  Mom & dad had plenty to enjoy! ----- Thank You, PJ

I did hear from Robert and others that
they were sore in places that they did not
even know were body parts.  I guess that
none of us are getting any younger.  All
in all the picnic was a success and we
thank all of you for helping to make it that
way.  If you missed out please try to
make the next one.
In closing I want to thank all of you here at American Tool &
Die for your efforts and your input.  I pray that we will continue
to grow as a company and that God will bless our business and
that God will also bless each of you and your families.
Remember:  FORGIVENESS

A WRONG, CAN NEVER BE MADE RIGHT ... ONLY FORGIVEN.

SO PLEASE FORGIVE, AND WHEN YOU DO ... MAKE IT FOREVER!
