The CNC department at American Tool & Die is committed to quality, excellence, and on time delivery. We have a well trained staff that is dedicated to serve your needs and requirements. Our CNC department offers 3 axis machining with work envelopes up to 31" x 60" x 24". Larger sizes can be accommodated with additional setups. We offer CNC turning with bar feed capabilities from .125" - 1.25" and larger parts with OD's up to 20". We have a turret press with a work envelope size of 30" x 40". We also have hard turning capabilities.

We have wire EDM machines with work envelopes up to 11" x 15" x 12". We offer machining operations from complete parts design, secondary operations, custom one-off part, production runs and prototype parts. We offer machining in a wide variety of materials including aluminum, plastics, composites, and tool steels. We use up to date CAD/CAM software packages, which include "Solidworks 2005", "Surfcam 2005", and "AutoCAD 2005". We have 3-D digitizing and machining capabilities. We can digitize your original part and create an exact duplicate. We can create intricate surface and 3-D part models either for machining purposes or solely for the purpose of developing a CAD data file. Our DNC software, which is used to transfer programs from our CAM package to our CNC's, consists of "Predator" and "Cimco". This process provides proper data transmission to all machines simultaneously. All of our CAD files and machining programs are stored on a fully integrated computer network for faster data transfer.
