American Tool & Die's design department uses the latest in innovative software packages to produce the most functional and cost-effective designs. Utilizing three-dimensional (3-D) or two-dimensional design techniques in AutoCAD 2005, Solidworks 2005 and Surfcam 2005, we can design the entire project prior to incurring any fabrication, machining or production costs. This technique allows us to reduce costs and maintain all projects within realistic budget goals thus passing on to our customers numerous monetary benefits.
Disc Grooving Machine
"Yoke and Pin" Assembly Machine
Flat stainless steel discs are loaded into a vibratory bowl feeder then fed through an escapement. The escapement loads one piece at a time into the rotary spindle at which time the cutting head is pneumatically driven into the part to create a double groove in the face of the part.
Components are manually loaded into precision machined nests. The machine spindle then rotates and engages the threaded members to a specified depth reading. A jam nut is then torqued to specification.

Mower Deck Weld Fixture
Mower Deck Weld Fixtures - "As Built". Fixture is manually loaded with individual components. The fixture is then presented to the robotic welder for welding.
